YEAR2017–OngoingOver the years I’ve done sporadic merchandise for Challenger: hats, shirts, classic zine reprints, and CD mixtapes have all been realized as honest-to-god physical objects. You can even buy some of this stuff on the Challenger Web Shop. I typically make design the merch myself but sometimes call on artists and designers I like to help me out. I’m an art director and designer with a background in photography and librarianship. I am currently designing for Morningstar.
Before my career in design I was an academic librarian at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
In my spare time I maintain a personal art practice that is based in photography. Since 2017, I have published and edited Challenger, a BMX magazine that takes multiple forms. Its current form is a hiatus.
