Harvard Innovation Labs’ President’s Innovation Challenge (PIC) is venture competition for Harvard students and select Harvard alumni. This event is a touchstone event for the Harvard Innovation Labs and its members, offering an opportunity for a slice of $515,000 in funding for their start-up.
This project is full-fledged event design and direction for both streaming and in-person attendance. There’s a pre-event campaign comprised of various digital assets (digital displays, email, social) and event design for the run of the show: transition animations, title cards, winning moments, and probably some other pieces to the complicated, but very fun to design, puzzle.
The PIC is built on a three-act narrative that guides the i-Lab community throughout the application, selection, and winning process.
You can see the full 2022 PIC microsite here.
The event is broken into tracks based on industry and also divided between current Harvard students and Harvard alumni. Each track has a color and icon treatment to visually cue the difference.
Post-event email header. This linked to the microsite (see below), with more information about the PIC, including all winners.
